General Volunteer Tasks

Supply Prep & Distribution

We have a food bank and supply room that is open to our clients Tuesday through Thursday from 10am to 3pm.  During those days we need a volunteer in charge of distributing food and supplies to our clients.  This is a great way to get to know our clients and really help the community.

Behind the scenes, we have volunteer opportunities to sort and put away donations, and to bag pet food to stock our shelves for our open service hours.

Administrative Support
Administrative support is not a regularly posted shift, but can be scheduled based on the needs and skills of the volunteer. This could include data entry, transcribing voicemails, and more. Comfort with computers is necessary.

Transport Volunteers

Pet Appointment Transportation

Our clients often struggle with reliable transportation. Therefore, we offer transportation services for pets only (we do not transport clients).  We require you to have a reliable vehicle, proof of current insurance, and a valid driver's license.  Transport is offered either for appointments to PAW Team, or to occasional appointments through partner clinics for spay/neuter or other types of surgeries.

Pet Supply Delivery

Some clients are unable to safely access our space, and we utilize volunteers to deliver essential pet supplies (Food, Medicine, Litter, etc.) to our clients and their pets. We require you to have a reliable vehicle, proof of current insurance, and a valid driver's license. Delivery times can be flexible around your schedule, depending on the situation.

Donation Pick-Up

PAW Team is very fortunate to receive donations of pet supplies from local pet stores, vet clinics, community partners, and individuals which enables us to provide free pet supplies and medications to folks in need. We are looking for volunteers help with picking up donations from local donors and delivering the items to PAW Team. We require you to have a reliable vehicle, proof of current insurance, and a valid driver's license. Pick up and delivery times can be flexible around your schedule, depending on the situation.

Outreach & Fundraising

PAW Team utilizes volunteers to table at outreach events and spread the word about PAW Team in our community. There are also opportunities to join our fundraising & outreach committee.

Client Volunteer Opportunities

We welcome active PAW Team clients to volunteer their time! Our client volunteer opportunities are limited to ensure client confidentiality is maintained.
